Struktur sebuah pidato dapat digambarkan secara sederhana sebagai berikut:

1.     Greetings (salam)

Contoh salam:

Contoh pembukaan:

Who has guided us from the darkness to the brightness,  from the stupidity to the cleverness, from Jahiliah era to the Islamic era namely Islamic religion that we love. Smoking Is A Bad Habit In Our Lives

Assalamualaikum wr.wb

Good morning all …….The honorable the judges, the honorable my teachers, the honorable my seniors and my beloved friends . We must give thanks to our god, because of God’s blessings and Mercies we can stand here until today . First of all , I would like to introduce myself.

My name is …….

Today I will deliver a speech about smoking entitled “Smoking is a bad habit in our lives”.

My friends,

As we know smoking is one part of the daily activities of the majority of Indonesian society. most smokers know the dangers of smoking but they never tried to stop smoking. Because that, we as the younger generation must be convinced that smoking is bad habit in life. Smoking is a bad habit because of three factors, among others:

1. Contain poison substances

2. causing diseases such as cancer.

3. Expensive.

The honorable ladies and gentlemen,

The first factor of smoking is bad habit is contain poison substance. we should not consume cigarettes because it is not good for health. I’m sure you know there are many substances in cigarette smoke is dangerous. For the example, nicotine substance. That substance is very dangerous and can cause various diseases. not only dangerous for smoker, it is also dangerous for us if we near the smoker. so if there is a smoker near you. Say to him or her for stubbed him/ her cigarette for a moment with good polite.

My friend,

Next, I will talk about the second factor. That is, smoking cause various diseases like cancer, disorders of pregnancy, fetal disorders, and etc. One of the factor of many Indonesian people who died were smoking. The majority is a student!! Many students who died because of smoking and drugs. It was very disappointed.! one of the young generation died with the wrong way. !

smoking habit also produces behavioral effects that are bad for the smokers. And so many the negative effect of smoking.

My beloved teacher and friends ,

Last, cigarette is expensive. Did you know?? Cigarette price is 7-15 thousand rupiah or more than it for one pack. Can you imagine a student or a smoker spent his money to buy a pack of cigarettes every day and calculated every week, every month and every year? If one day for buying a pack of cigarette is 8 thousands, So in one week he spent 56 thousands, in a month he spent 240 thousands and in year he spent 2.880.000 . it is just one pack for a day. If 2 ,3, or 4 packs a day??? How much money?? So much money, for smoking. This is cause a family got economic crisis and a student cannot use his pocket money for school.

Sex Education at School

Assalamualaikum wr.wb.

Teenagers are the most important part of the growth of the country. They are the new generation. However there are many teenagers have been depraved. They run to drugs, commit suicide, free sex, drink alcohol, smoking, etc. Those are spreading in teenagers’ life. And the most popular problem is free sex. Many teenagers think that sex before getting married is proper. We know that it is very bad for them. There are many bad effects of free sex. Such as, we can suffer from HIV/AIDS and then the pregnancy for the girls. It will damage their future.

Teenagers must be given sex education especially at school. The need of comprehension about human sexuality in teenagers’ life must be fulfilled. They must know about free sex life and the sex crime that often happened. They must be aware about responsibility of their self. They should get much information about sexuality rightly for them. The information can be given by sex education at school. The teachers can describe sex for the students in order that the teenagers will avoid sex before married.

School is good mediator in giving sex education for the teenagers. School has good conducive situation. School and the teachers are the second circle after the family. It will be better if the teachers hold an event like seminar with a doctor as the speaker. In order that the teenagers can get sex education deeply and give them the aim of sexual activity correctly. With sex education, the teenagers will be careful in doing something about sex.

Ladies and gentlemen

Although they know about how to avoid the pregnancy, put virginity is very important for the woman. Sex before married just makes us fall into a trap. There are some aims of sex education for the teenagers Which they can understand that sexuality as the part of life. They also know about the consequences of irresponsible sex activity.

So, sex education is very needed for the teenagers. Starting now, sex education must be given to them.

Drugs

Ladies and Gentlemen

Thousands of young men have wasted their lives because of illicit drugs in our country, Indonesia. They were mostly victims of a ‘cruel’ environment, a broken-home family, ignorance, etc. It is estimated that around 4 million people in Indonesia illicit drug users – about one in every 50 Indonesians. In the capital city of Jakarta, it is estimated that three out of ten young people are users. A study by the International Labor Organization (ILO) office in Indonesia showed that around four per cent of illicit drug users in the country are children under 17 years old. Two out of ten users are involved in illicit trafficking. Some teenagers start being involved in producing and trafficking drugs between the ages of 13 and 15. Chairman of the National Narcotics Coordinating Board said that the country’s illicit drug users include around 7,000 junior high school students, over 10,000 senior high school students and about 800 elementary school students.

Ladies and Gentlemen

People usually take drugs to have fun or escape the pressures of life. Drug users among students are particularly worrying. It was reported that a number of traffickers operate around schools by cheating, forcing or giving free illicit drugs to students. Once the students are addicted, they then go to the traffickers to buy the illicit drugs. If they do not have money, they steal it from their family members or others. Narkoba’ is the Indonesian term for narcotics, psychotropic and addictive substances. Psychotropic substances popularly called Ecstasy and Shabu-shabu are considered favorites among the middle and upper class users. However, for an increasing number of young people, the drug of choice is low-grade heroin, known as putaw, which is cheap, plentiful, but potentially deadly. These drugs are readily available in all major urban areas, including schools, Karaoke lounges, bars, cafes, discotheques, nightclubs, and they even spread into remote villages. Therefore it is not surprising that drug users continue to increase from year to year.

The facts above showed us how familiar “Narkoba” issues In our young generation. First we should know what’s the meaning of drugs addiction? Drug addiction is a complex brain disease. It is characterized by compulsive, at times uncontrollable, drug craving, seeking, and use that persist even in the face of extremely negative consequences. Drug seeking becomes compulsive, in large part as a result of the effects of prolonged drug use on brain functioning and, thus, on behavior. For many people, drug addiction becomes chronic, with relapses possible even after long periods of abstinence. The Definition confirm us how serious the consequences of using Drugs.

Ladies and Gentlemen

Drug abuse has also contributed to the increase of HIV/AIDS patients, through the usage of unsterile injections. According to a report based on an illicit drug and injection safety study of 20 Asian countries conducted by the Center for Harm Reduction in Australia’s Burnet Institute, drug injecting is spreading to all the countries [of Asia] and its popularity is increasing. Our Country, Indonesia have up to 1 million drug injectors, and 19% of them were infected HIV/AIDS. How Dangerous the drugs abuse for us.

Ladies and Gentlemen especially, The young Generation

This is an extremely serious issue for us. It’s a threat that could kill an entire generation. One generation of this nation will be lost if we do not take action together and immediately. In short, we must be ready to go to war against illicit drugs and the war must start from home.

then, what can we do as the young generation? Prevention is better than cure. AVOID the Drugs, don’t ever think to try just because you curious. Because once you try, you will be trapped and later become addicted, and the addiction will finally turn you into criminals or take your lives. We have so many examples around us, what happened to the users. Some become crazy, some was going to the jail, and The others were died. All of them loose their future. I believe we don’t want such a things happened to ourselves.

The Young Generation,

Now its time for us to say ‘NO’ to drugs. It’s time for us to arrange our future. It’s time for us to face the world with our ability. It’s time for us to prove that we can do something for our country.

Environment

Well, ladies and gentlemen, in this occasion I would like to tell you about environment. Environment is everything around us. Environment consists of two main parts which are biotic and abiotic environment. Biotic environment is everything around us which are living, for example plants, animals and human beings. While abiotic environment is everything around us which are not living, for example stone, water, wind, land and etc. We must protect our environment as good as possible because it can influence our live.

As we know that Indonesia has many tropical forests and it is a source of nature which can help people live peacefully. So as human being we should preserve the forest. There are some efforts which should be done by all people:

1. Not cutting down the trees in the forest

2. Planting any kinds of trees in the barren area of the forest

Cutting down the trees in the forest can cause many disasters for human beings. Of

course it can cause flood because the rain water can’t be absorbed by the root of plants so the water flows directly to the ground. There are many damage caused by the flood, many people being homeless because of flood, the flood kills many kinds of pet, many factories can’t produce anything, transportation can’t run well because the bridge is broken and so on. How horrified the flood is…!!

Actually, the disasters above can be minimized if all of human beings can preserve our environment and we must pay more attention to the environment whenever and wherever. We must not throw away rubbish anywhere which can disturb the flowing of the river water. We should plant any kinds of trees in the barren area or in side of the road. By doing those simple efforts, it means we have participated in the preservation of our environment.

Our Environment

Assalamu ‘alaikum wr. Wb

Realize it or not, we live in this world depends on the environment, we drink water from our environment, we breath air from our environment and we eat foods which planted from our environment. Our environment has a great influence in our live. Our environment gives us life. Good or bad our environment definitely will affect our live even our existence.

Let's close our eyes and remember few years back. There were many green trees around us. But now those green trees are gone and replaced with buildings.  Few years ago, we could still breathe deeper to fill our lung with fresh air of oxygen. But now that refreshing oxygen was gone and replaced with thick Carbon Monoxide. Few years ago, we could still look at our reflections on the river because of the clear water. But now that reflection was gone and replaced with trash.

Carbon Monoxide that we breathe and polluted water that we drink become our daily menu right now. Do we just stay still and enjoy those bitter menu every day? Or we can do something small hoping to taste fresh oxygen and clear water once more.

Ladies and gentlemen

Small action such as planting some trees put trash in the right place and reduce the usage of motor vehicle will save our environment from destruction. Once more, our live depends on our environment. Treat it well and it will treat us well.

Corruption

My dear friends

Corruption is well known word that everyone in this country knows exactly what it means and how cruel it is. Corruption is an action of stealing people money and their right of justice. It is stink and inhuman action. An action that brings our country to the depths of poverty.

Corruption has become the biggest problem in our country Indonesia that needs immediate actions. Our country is weaken by it. It's like a virus which infects all sectors in the government; justice and civil service sectors.

Public may never forget of the corruption scandal that snares the leader of Constitutional Court or Mahkamah Konstitusi, Akil Mochtar (Ini contohny, bisa diganti, karena sekarang bukan lagi Akil Mochtar). That scandal is like snaps us that even in legal constitution, corruption can still thrive. Not only that, other institution such as police and ministry institution which ought to protect and serve us were involved to corruption cases.

Poverty and social discrepancy are those of the effect of corruption. Money that should be given to erase poverty are corrupted for self advantages of certain persons. Justice that should be risen up are corrupted of certain persons.

My friends

Even though there is KPK which bravely wipe out the corruption in this country, we as smart generation can prevent corruption happen in our future. Being honest is the key. Do and speak with honest will help us to maintain our country from the danger of corruption. Corruption must die!!!

The Role of Islamic Students in Globalization Era

As we know well that globalization is an era marked by missing the territorial limit of nation. It enables the nation culture interferences. So that, politics, economy, culture of nation can influence color and inspire of the other nations policies.

Globalization gives not only positive effects of science, information and technology development but also brings about many religion and culture principle divergences of the nation. Those become the cause of a drop in autonomy and identity of the nation.

Happy brothers and sisters!

Let's pay attention more what happens in our surroundings at present! Free sex, pornography, alcoholic drink and drugs become youth customs in this country. Most of them always imitate what becomes “up to date” without filtering and thinking before. And they never make balance between thought and desire, planning and implementation and between ability and action. In addition, they do not preserve the Islamic laws because they think that religion is the symbol only. Whereas, youth is the generation next of this country. So how this country's future is if most of them get a drop in their moral values?.

Consequently, we are the next generation of this country; we have to keep ourselves by faith, beliefs and piety in facing the globalization era. And we have to be aware of conserving the Islamic laws. Moreover we are the Islamic students have obligation to fight against the weakness of our beloved nation.

Moslem brothers and sisters!

We should not keep silent when we know the negative changes that happen in our society because of globalization era. As Islamic students we ought to become figures in anticipating the negative effects of this global era.

Allah states in the noble Quran in Surah Al-i'Imran

The Islamic students with their moral forces and Islamic studies must be proactive to guide what is and what globalization era is for and the purpose of it. So that, let's hope for the best. They become the public figures and they can color the social and cultural lives of their society in achieving the goal.

The Youth Responsibility

Dear Moslem Brothers!

When we talk about the youngsters in the Indonesia, we often find in many articles and we ourselves even witness and support the development of nation. They are the hope of the nation who will carry out the struggle for the sake of the brighter future of the country. Similarly, they are at the same time, the hope of Islam religion who will strive for the sake of Islamic teaching in the next maintenance of the Islamic laws, who will safeguard the young Moslem generation at large from the influence of destructive western lifestyle, who will be the leaders for the next, it was yelled as : (subbanul yaum, rijalul ghoddi)

Today is young, tomorrow will be a leader.

This statement encourages us to pay attention to the young’s existence in the future. By knowing all the facts, we realize how important the role of the young generation has in the future. The youth supposedly symbolize the force that never becomes weak quickly. The youngsters play significant roles and have a great potency and energy that can be prided.

Dear Moslem in One Aqidah!

Therefore our religion enjoins us to be flexible Moslem leaders for the society who ultimately have to devote themselves for the development of Moslem community at large. Ironically in the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) era we witness the conducts of young people are always against the Islamic laws. We pay attention to many young people who are not aware of their education, their future and it is poor if we see our Moslem brothers in our country behaving badly and intentionally avoiding Islamic teachings to follow the western culture. We can’t imagine and describe what is going to happen in the next time if all young Moslem people are careless in their responsibility.

We have to be aware that the responsibility of developing nation and  establishing religion depend on the young generation. By those considerations we should be very careful with any of destructive western lifestyle and culture that would affect the Islamic values and teachings.

As the Moslem generation, we have a great responsibility to the future of religion and nation. Young generation is the only hope of the life of nation, the development and the decline of nation depend on them. And the victory and the destruction of religion and nation are on the hands of next generation. It’s quite right what Mustofa Al-gholayain said in the book of Idhotun Nasyi’in “Yaa ma’syarosyabaab, inna fii yadiikum amrol ummah, wafii aqdaamikum hayaatahaa”

“Hi youths…surely all kind of community’s problem, in the success of not depend on your hands, and surely the development of religion, nation and country are on your shoulder”

Dear Moslems!

Last but not the least; I would like to call you all to prepare our generation in order to be able to replace the old generation in the future. And I hope you and all Moslem society and Moslem brothers wherever they are to obtain from bad action and furthermore we have to develop our skill and potency to reach up the brighter future. Amin ya robbal alamiin.

Green Ethics

I believe that everyone here know that we need a place, an environment for living, doing activities, and especially studying when we are at school. However,  I also believe that not everyone here know that we need to care for the environment. Let’s think, our environment has provided us a comfortable place to live. So, if we have to respect our environment? Unquestionably, the answer is YES!

It is not a hard if we do care about our environment, we can start from the thing that most people think it is a small thing. My friends, the small thing that we can do to respect our environment is to care to the small trash that we can meet every day.  Yeah, it is a small thing, but really, don’t you think that the small thing that you have done will just give a benefit on a small-scale.

Remember this, you have done great thing by caring to the small trash. Keep clean; please put the trash in its place, whether if it's yours or someone else's, wherever and whenever you meet trash that you can place the trash in its place.

I find that the school community has been able to care for environment. Nevertheless, we still can see some of our friends who have a lack of awareness of the environment. These people, we should invite also to pay attention to the environment. It is better, right?

I know you would say and ask, “We have invited so many people to do that, and we are tired of that because no-one listening to us! So what’s the solution?” And I give you my answer, try to start from your-self, and the other will follow you, you are the boss!

The importance of protecting the environment

Plants, people, animals and the environment are interdependence. Plants need a good environment for growing, animals need plants to eat, and human need everything to survive. Everything went as usual until the human who is destroying it. No one of living things on the earth who can destroying it except the human.

Globalization may already be familiar to you. Globalization can accelerate the rate of economy anywhere. Technology which has been developed over the years become a tool that can make easily human to works. Even to support it many new technologies are born for example a computer. Unfortunately, the speed of current technological improvement not followed by protecting awareness of surrounding environment. Massive oil drilling caused by the human vehicle is increasing along with increasing human populations from year to year. Finally, the waste produced from the vehicles, become one of the main factors polluted air around us. A lot of environmental damage that we often hear, for example, global warming ,acid rain, greenhouse effect, environmental pollution and so on.

The greenhouse effect caused by excessive carbon dioxide gas and causes global warming makes the earth hotter. The next phenomenon is acid rain, although it can prevent global warming but acid rain is more dangerous. Humans are the main causes ! Start From now let's keep our environment for our grandchildren one day later. Because no matter how small work you do, will be felt by our children and grandchildren one day later.
